The Alberta Opportunity stream is for individuals who currently reside in Alberta and have a valid job offer from an employer.

The Alberta Opportunity stream is for individuals who currently reside in Alberta and have a valid job offer from an employer.
To qualify, you must meet the requirements. You must have
Have a work permit with a positive LMIA, or qualify under the exempt LMIA class outlined by the IRCC. International trade agreements, work transferred within a company, international experience in Canada or Mobilite Francophone, or having an open work permit issued by the IRCC because you fall under the vulnerable worker category as an individual or as a family member of the class.
The Alberta Express Entry Stream is for individuals who currently have a Federal Express Entry profile and who they consider may be a benefit to the work force in Alberta. These individuals will get a letter of nomination from Alberta to apply.
If you meet the requirements needed, you may get a Notification of Interest from the province. If you do, you must have an active EE profile, have stated your interest in immigrating to Alberta, work in an area that will support the economy of Alberta, and have a minimum score of 300 on the Comprehensive Ranking System (CRS).
Wish to improve your chances? You have a valid job offer for Alberta with the work experience, have graduated from a learning institution in Alberta, or have a parent, sibling, child, or brother or sister that is currently living in the Province of Alberta and is a PR or Canadian citizen.
Things that work against you are having an EE profile that will expire in less than 5 months, you are in an occupation that is on the Ineligible occupation list or you are in an occupation that has a very large volume of applicants already

The other streams are the Streams for the Entrepreneur.
They are the International Graduate Entrepreneur Immigration stream, the Self-Employed stream, and the Foreign Graduate Start-Up Visa stream.
The International Graduate Entrepreneur stream is for the graduates who purchase an existing business or want to start a business. They will submit a letter of interest to the province.
Eligibility for the International Graduate Entrepreneur stream you must
Complete 2 years of full-time education, earn a diploma or degree, and have at least 2 years left on a postgraduate work permit. You have met a minimum of CLB 7 in a language test of English or French.
You must be establishing a new business or buying an existing business with at least 34% ownership in Alberta and must not be on the ineligible list. Have the work experience of at least 6 months as an active manager or owner of a business. This can be experience from inside or outside of Canada, and the education of 2 years and 6 months of experience must be completed when submitting the EOI.

Economic benefit to the province, your age, your spouse, and an Alberta relative.

The Self-Employed stream is for those who want to be farmers and plan on buying or purchasing a farm
and plan on living in Alberta. These individuals can apply for PR.
To be eligible for this stream, a person must prove they have the following:.
Farm skill management. They must be able to prove they have the financial documentation of ownership of an existing farm, documentation of education, training, and work experience, or a proposed business plan for the farm in Alberta, and proof of a Canadian financial institution who is willing to finance your farming business.
You must have sufficient financial resources. The investment of at least $500,000 in a primary farming business in Alberta is required. You must provide proof of available funds and may need to demonstrate the ability to invest additional amounts.
Candidates must form an investment plan, show it in a business plan, and submit this with their application to the AINP. The Agricultural and Forestry Department of Alberta reviews this plan.

The Foreign Graduate Start-Up Visa stream is for individuals outside of Canada who want to start a b
usiness or innovative business. They can apply for PR.
The collaboration of the Alberta Immigrant Nominee Program and an approved designated agency are responsible for this program. If someone wishes to be involved with this program, they must collaborate with a designated agency. This agency will issue a letter of recommendation if it feels it meets the requirements of the AINP. The individual must submit the letter along with his expression of interest.
The approved designated agency roll is to support the marketing of the FGSVS. Selects the foreign graduates and recommends them to the Alberta Immigrant Nomination Program. Determines if the foreign graduate and potential success of the start-up by reviewing the business idea and helping with support and development of the business plan, and finally they connect the graduates with the appropriate network and provide business counseling, coaching, and guidance when they launch their business in Alberta while trying to achieve the requirements of the Business Performance Agreement.
