a. The Skilled workers overseas Stream is a for applicants who can prove an established connection to Manitoba through.
- Support from family or friends in Manitoba
- Through pervious experience working or education in Manitoba
- Or invitation to apply directly from the PNPN as a part of the Strategic Recruitment Initiative.
b. Express Entry Pathway
- Must get accepted into the EE system
- Must have educational credentials to support application
- Meet the language requirements
- Six months of work minimal in Manitoba in a job listed on the in-demand occupation list
- Have the settlement funds
- Have the intention of staying in Manitoba and the support of a family member or relative living in Manitoba for at least one year
- An Invitation to apply.
- A license of the occupation you are applying for
c. Human capital Pathway is carries much of the same requirements as the EE Pathway
Skilled workers in Manitoba
The MPNP for Skilled Workers is locally driven and based on the needs of Manitoba employers. They select internationally trained and experienced workers who have the skills needed in the local labour market, and nominate them to receive Canadian permanent resident visas to settle and work in Manitoba.
The MPNP for Skilled Workers in Manitoba nominates applicants who have a strong connection to our province through ongoing employment and sufficient skills, education and training, work experience and official language proficiency to make an immediate and ongoing contribution to the Manitoba economy and our community at large.
Ongoing Manitoba employment is a way for skilled workers to demonstrate they have the connection to Manitoba required to be eligible to apply to the MPNP for Skilled Workers in Manitoba.
d. International Education Stream
This stream has three other streams within the program. The Career Employment Pathway, Graduate Internship Pathway and International entrepreneur Pilot.
The career employment Pathway is for those individuals who studied in Manitoba under a post-secondary education and have found long term employment the is in a in-demand occupation that is consistent with their field of study. If you meet the eligibility requirements you will be able to be eligible right after graduation.
The Graduate Internship Pathway is for individuals who have completed a Master or Doctoral through internships the contribute to Manitoba. The students that have complete an Accelerated or Elevated internship with Mitacs within Manitoba can apply to the MPNP immediately when they finish and graduate even if they do not have a job offer.
The International Student Entrepreneur Pilot give up to 20 international students per year the opportunity to pursue a career as an entrepreneur instead of employment. Once they have applied and meet the requirements laid out in a Business Performance Agreement, they then will get a nomination for permanent residence
Each one of these programs still have the requirements to meet including language, financial requirements, education, and adaptability.
e. The Business Investor Stream is for international qualified investors the opportunity for Manitoba to nominate business and entrepreneurs with the intent to live and open businesses within Manitoba through two programs. The Entrepreneur Pathway and the Farm investor pathway.
