Canada invited 462 provincial nominees in the Express Entry draw #197
On July 21, 2021, Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC) conducted a new Express Entry draw.
Draw #197 targeted candidates under the Provincial Nominee Program. IRCC invited 462 provincial candidates, and the cut-off score in this round was 734 points, 26 points less compared to the previous PNP-specific draw that occurred on July 7.
The tie-breaking rule for this round was April 11, 2021, at 13:01:45 UTC.
As of July 19, 2021, there are 167,244 profiles registered in the pool, 393 more compared to the previous update.
In total, Canada issued 94,304 ITAs to foreign nationals through Express Entry in 2021.

Alberta invited 181 candidates and updated the AINP inventory
On July 20, 2021, Alberta published the update of the inventory of the Alberta Immigrant Nominee Program (AINP).
Currently, there are around 1,375 Alberta Opportunity Stream applications and 300 Expressions of Interest in the Alberta Express Entry pool. In addition, on July 14, 2021, Alberta held a new round in the Alberta Express Entry Stream and issued 181 Notifications of Interest (NOI).
The lowest score in this round was 301 points, one point fewer than in the previous draw.
In 2021, AINP already invited 2,613 Express Entry candidates to apply for a provincial nomination in the Alberta Express Entry.

BCPNP issued 383 invitations in the new round
On July 20, 2021, British Columbia conducted two draws in the Skills Immigration (SI) and Express Entry British Columbia (EEBC) categories of the British Columbia Provincial Nominee Program (BCPNP).
In the general draw, the province issued 323 invitations.
• Skills Immigration - Skilled Worker 91 (-1 point)
• Skills Immigration - International Graduate 82 (-1 point)
• Skills Immigration - Entry Level and Semi-Skilled 75
• Express Entry British Columbia - Skilled Worker 90 (-1 point)
• Express Entry British Columbia - International Graduate 81 (-1 point)
The second round of the day targeted only candidates in NOC 0621 - Retail and Wholesale Trade Managers and NOC 0631 - Restaurant and Food Service Managers. BCPNP invited 60 such candidates.
Both NOCs have a high number of registrants within the BC PNP Skills Immigration Registration System.
The lowest score of those candidates was 107 points, one point less compared to the previous draw for these NOCs. In total, British Columbia issued 6,608 ITAs under the BCPNP in 2021.

PEI PNP issued 127 invitations in the new draw
On July 15, 2021, Prince Edward Island conducted a new invitation round in the Prince Edward Island Provincial Nominee Program (PEI PNP).
In the seventh round of 2021, the province issued 118 invitations to apply to skilled workers in the Labour Impact and Express Entry streams.
The province also invited 9 candidates in the Business Work Permit Entrepreneurs stream. The lowest score for business candidates was 75 points, 15 points more than in the June draw.
In 2021, the PEI PNP invited 1,033 candidates to apply for the provincial nomination. 98 invitees belong to business class candidates.
The next round is scheduled for August 19, 2021.
