British Columbia held a new draw

On June 22, 2021, British Columbia conducted two draws in the Skills Immigration (SI) and Express Entry British Columbia (EEBC) categories of the British Columbia Provincial Nominee Program (BCPNP). In the general draw, the province issued 341 invitations. • Skills Immigration - Skilled Worker 93 • Skills Immigration - International Graduate 85 (-3 point) • Skills Immigration - Entry Level and Semi-Skilled 75 (-1 point) • Express Entry British Columbia - Skilled Worker 92 (-1 point) • Express Entry British Columbia - International Graduate 85 (-3 point) The second round of the day targeted only candidates in NOC 0621 - Retail and Wholesale Trade Managers and NOC 0631 - Restaurant and Food Service Managers. BCPNP invited 54 such candidates. Both NOCs have a high number of registrants within the BC PNP Skills Immigration Registration System. The lowest score of those candidates was 109 points, one point less compared to the previous draw for these NOCs. MPNP issued 141 invitations to apply for the nomination of Manitoba

On June 17, 2021, Manitoba conducted a new draw in the Manitoba Provincial Nominee Program (MPNP) . In round #119, Manitoba invited 95 candidates in the Skilled Workers in Manitoba stream. The lowest score of those who received a Letter of Advice to Apply (LAA) was 430, 55 points more compared to draw #118. As for the Skilled Workers Overseas Stream, the province invited 24 individuals, and the lowest score to get the LAA was 703, the same as it was in the previous round. In addition, MPNP invited 22 candidates in the International Education Category. Of those 141 invited in this round, 10 candidates had valid Express Entry profiles. Prince Edward Island issued 113 invitations under the PEI PNP

On June 17, 2021, Prince Edward Island conducted a new invitation round in the Prince Edward Island Provincial Nominee Program (PEI PNP). In the sixth round of the year, the province issued 101 invitations to apply to skilled workers in the Labour Impact and Express Entry streams. PEI also invited 12 candidates to the Business Work Permit Entrepreneurs stream. The lowest score for business candidates was 60 points, twenty points fewer than in the May draw. In total, Prince Edward Island issued 906 invitations in 2021, including 89 invitations to business candidates. British Columbia issued new invitations for entrepreneurs

On June 15, 2021, British Columbia issued up to 13 invitations to apply to the candidates under Business Immigration streams. In the Entrepreneur Immigration – Regional Pilot, BC invited less than five candidates and the lowest score was 139. In the Base Category of the Entrepreneur Stream, BCPNP issued 9 invitations and the lowest score was 126. Both streams aimed to attract foreign entrepreneurs into British Columbia via the British Columbia Provincial Nominee Program (BCPNP) program.
