BCPNP issued 370 invitation in the new round

On May 25, 2021, British Columbia conducted two draws in the Skills Immigration (SI) and Express Entry British Columbia (EEBC) categories of the British Columbia Provincial Nominee Program (BCPNP). In the general draw, the province issued 323 invitations. • Skills Immigration - Skilled Worker 94 • Skills Immigration - International Graduate 90 (-2 point) • Skills Immigration - Entry Level and Semi-Skilled 76 (-1 point) • Express Entry British Columbia - Skilled Worker 94 • Express Entry British Columbia - International Graduate 90 (-2 point) The second round of the day targeted only candidates in NOC 0621 - Retail and Wholesale Trade Managers and NOC 0631 - Restaurant and Food Service Managers. BCPNP invited 47 such candidates. Both NOCs have a high number of registrants within the BC PNP Skills Immigration Registration System. The lowest score of those candidates was 111 points, one point less compared to the previous draw for these NOCs. Saskatchewan issued 269 ITAs in the new round of SINP

On May 25, 2021, Saskatchewan issued 269 invitations to apply (ITAs) to the Occupations In-Demand category candidates under the Saskatchewan Immigrant Nominee Program (SINP). The score of the lowest-ranked candidate for this round was 65 points – the lowest score for this year. All invited candidates had Educational Credential Assessments. In this draw, Saskatchewan invited candidates in 36 different NOCs. In total, Saskatchewan invited 3,469 candidates in 2021, 1,647 under the Express Entry, and 1,822 under the Occupations In-Demand category. #Saskatchewan, #SINP, #Express_Entry, #Occupations_in_demand, #PNP

Manitoba conducted MPNP draw #116

On May 25, 2021, Manitoba conducted a new draw in the Manitoba Provincial Nominee Program (MPNP). In round #116, MPNP issued 166 Letters of Advice to Apply (LAA) in the Skilled Workers in Manitoba stream. The minimum score to get the LAA in this category was 415 points, 15 points more compared to draw #115. In the Skilled Workers Overseas stream, Manitoba issued 46 LAAs. The lowest score in the SWO category was 703 points, the same as it was in the previous round. Manitoba also invited 20 candidates in the International Education Category. In total, Manitoba issued LAAs to 335 candidates, including 20 Express Entry candidates. Alberta invited 250 more candidates under the AINP

Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC) sets the limits for nominations the Alberta Immigrant Nominee Program (AINP) can issue each year. Despite IRCC provided 6,250 nomination certificates to Alberta for 2020, Alberta issued only 4,000 nomination certificates. The quota for AINP in 2021 is still unavailable. As of May 25, 2021, there are around 1,800 Alberta Opportunity Stream applications and 400 Expressions of Interest in the Alberta Express Entry pool. In addition, on May 18, 2021, Alberta held a new round in the Alberta Express Entry Stream and issued 250 Notifications of Interest (NOI). The lowest score in this round was 301 points, one point more than in the previous draw.
