Saskatchewan issued 269 ITAs in the new round of SINP
On April 22, 2021, Saskatchewan conducted a new round of invitations in the Saskatchewan Immigrant Nominee Program (SINP). This time, SINP issued 269 invitations to apply (ITAs) for the provincial nomination. In the Express Entry category, Saskatchewan issued 130 ITAs. Another 139 invitations were issued to the Occupations In-Demand category candidates. The lowest score in both categories was 70 points. All invited candidates had Educational Credential Assessments. In this draw, Saskatchewan invited candidates in 61 different NOCs. In total, Saskatchewan invited 2,941 candidates in 2021, 1,511 under the Express Entry, and 1,430 under the Occupations In-Demand category

Thunder Bay issued 13 new community recommendations under the RNIP
On April 20, 2021, Thunder Bay, ON, released new results of the issuance of the community recommendations in the Rural and Northern Immigration Pilot (RNIP). In 2021, the city recommended 1 candidate in the NOC 0, 2 candidates in the NOC A, 22 candidates in the NOC B, 4 candidates in the NOC C, and 3 candidates in the NOC D. Among them, the Community Economic Development Commission (CEDC) of Thunder Bay recommended 5 Cooks (NOC 6322), 1 Chef (NOC 6321), 3 Cleaners (NOC 673 minor category) and 1 Security Guard (NOC 6541). Those candidates now can move forward to the federal stage of permanent residence application.

British Columbia held a new draw in the Tech Pilot
On April 20, 2021, British Columbia Provincial Nominee Program (BC PNP) has issued new invitations for candidates in the Tech Pilot. In this round, 90 qualified registrants in the 29 key technology occupations of the BC PNP Tech Pilot received invitations in four categories: Skills Immigration - Skilled Worker, Skills Immigration - International Graduate, Express Entry British Columbia - Skilled Worker, and Express Entry British Columbia - International Graduate. The minimum score for this round was 80 points. British Columbia invited 3,531 candidates in 2021 and 682 of them were invited under the Tech Pilot.

Manitoba invited 399 candidates in MPNP draw #113
On April 19, 2021, Manitoba invited new applicants in the Manitoba Provincial Nominee Program (MPNP). In round #113, MPNP issued 399 Letters of Advice to Apply (LAA) in the Skilled Workers in Manitoba stream. In this draw, the province issued 191 invitations more than in the previous draw. 30 out of 399 invitations were issued under a Strategic Recruitment Initiative, with the lowest score of 703. The number of LAAs issued to Express Entry candidates was 369, with the lowest score of 708. In this round, 373 Express Entry applicants received LAA from the MPNP. In total, Manitoba invited 2,269 candidates in 2021, including 528 from Express Entry.
