Canada issued 783 invitations for the International Experience Canada candidates

Over the last week, Canada held new draws in the pools of the International Experience Canada (IEC) program. From April 12 to April 16, Immigration, Refugees, and Citizenship Canada (IRCC) issued 738 Invitations to Apply (ITA) for an IEC open work permit. As of April 16, there are 15,135 candidates registered in the pool, waiting for the invitation. In this round, there were 12 ITAs for Australia, 1 ITA for Belgium, 132 ITAs for Chile, 3 ITAs for Costa Rica, 3 ITAs for Croatia, 43 ITAs for the Czech Republic, 192 ITAs for France, 17 ITAs for Greece, 77 ITAs for Hong Kong, 125 ITAs for Ireland, 3 ITAs for Italy, 12 ITAs for Japan, 38 ITAs for South Korea, 10 ITAs for the Netherlands, 1 ITA for New Zealand, 2 ITAs for Norway, 10 ITAs for Portugal, 15 ITAs for Slovakia, 16 ITAs for Spain, 1 ITA for Sweden, 4 ITAs for Switzerland, 12 ITAs for Taiwan, and 54 ITAs for the United Kingdom. In total, Canada issued 5,036 ITAs under the IEC in 2021.

Canada issued another 6,000 ITAs for CEC candidates in Express Entry

On Friday evening on April 16, 2021, Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC) (IRCC) held a new Express Entry draw for candidates in the Canadian Experience Class (CEC) Program. In round #183, Canada issued 6,000 Invitations to Apply for permanent residence and the lowest score dropped to 417 points, fifteen points fewer compared to round #181. The tie-breaking rule for this round was March 01, 2021 at 19:53:46 UTC. Prince Edward Island invited 156 candidates in the new round

On April 15, 2021, Prince Edward Island held a new draw in the Prince Edward Island Provincial Nominee Program (PEI PNP). In the fourth round of 2021, the province issued 140 invitations to apply to skilled workers in the Labour Impact and Express Entry streams. The province also issued 16 invitations in the Business Work Permit Entrepreneurs stream. The lowest score for business candidates was 75 points, five points higher than in the March draw. In 2021, the PEI PNP invited 638 candidates to apply for the provincial nomination. 60 of those invitees belong to business class candidates. BCPNP invited 20 candidates in the business immigration streams

On April 13, 2021, British Columbia held new draws to business candidates in the British Columbia Provincial Nominee Program (BC PNP). In the Base Category of the Entrepreneur Stream, BC PNP invited 6 candidates with the lowest score of 126 points, four points more than in the February 2 draw. In the Entrepreneur Regional Pilot, the province invited 5 candidates with the lowest score of 116 points, seven points higher than in the previous draw. In 2021, British Columbia already invited 19 entrepreneurs.
