British Columbia held a new draw in the Tech Pilot

On April 20, 2021, British Columbia Provincial Nominee Program (BC PNP) has issued new invitations for candidates in the Tech Pilot. In this round, 90 qualified registrants in the 29 key technology occupations of the BC PNP Tech Pilot received invitations in four categories: Skills Immigration - Skilled Worker, Skills Immigration - International Graduate, Express Entry British Columbia - Skilled Worker, and Express Entry British Columbia - International Graduate. Manitoba invited 399 candidates in MPNP draw #113

On April 19, 2021, Manitoba invited new applicants in the Manitoba Provincial Nominee Program (MPNP). In round #113, MPNP issued 399 Letters of Advice to Apply (LAA) in the Skilled Workers in Manitoba stream. In this draw, the province issued 191 invitations more than in the previous draw. 30 out of 399 invitations were issued under a Strategic Recruitment Initiative, with the lowest score of 703. The number of LAAs issued to Express Entry candidates was 369, with the lowest score of 708. In this round, 373 Express Entry applicants received LAA from the MPNP. Canada issued 783 invitations for the International Experience Canada candidates

Over the last week, Canada held new draws in the pools of the International Experience Canada (IEC) program. From April 12 to April 16, Immigration, Refugees, and Citizenship Canada (IRCC) issued 738 Invitations to Apply (ITA) for an IEC open work permit. As of April 16, there are 15,135 candidates registered in the pool, waiting for the invitation. In this round, there were 12 ITAs for Australia, 1 ITA for Belgium, 132 ITAs for Chile, 3 ITAs for Costa Rica, 3 ITAs for Croatia, 43 ITAs for the Czech Republic, 192 ITAs for France, 17 ITAs for Greece, 77 ITAs for Hong Kong, 125 ITAs for Ireland, 3 ITAs for Italy, 12 ITAs for Japan, 38 ITAs for South Korea, 10 ITAs for the Netherlands, 1 ITA for New Zealand, 2 ITAs for Norway, 10 ITAs for Portugal, 15 ITAs for Slovakia, 16 ITAs for Spain, 1 ITA for Sweden, 4 ITAs for Switzerland, 12 ITAs for Taiwan, and 54 ITAs for the United Kingdom. In total, Canada issued 5,036 ITAs under the IEC in 2021.

Canada issued another 6,000 ITAs for CEC candidates in Express Entry

On Friday evening on April 16, 2021, Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC) (IRCC) held a new Express Entry draw for candidates in the Canadian Experience Class (CEC) Program. In round #183, Canada issued 6,000 Invitations to Apply for permanent residence and the lowest score dropped to 417 points, fifteen points fewer compared to round #181. The tie-breaking rule for this round was March 01, 2021 at 19:53:46 UTC.
